NOTHING IN NATURE RESPECTS WEAKNESS
Nothing in Nature Respects Weakness
If you lay down your weapons to make peace with the lion because you think it’s the morally right thing to do, it won’t stop the lion from eating you. The lion doesn’t care about fairness, rules, or any moral code.
The world is ruthless. We can’t rely on good intentions or “being the better human.” That mindset might work briefly, but when the lion gets hungry, it will attack.
Being kind to the lion won’t save you. Laying down your weapons and forgetting how to fight won’t stop it. You’ve only made yourself an easier target.
This isn’t about lions, by the way.
