BIA CHALLENGE COINS: MINTED TO LAST

Solid metal, roughly 50 mm across, with real weight in the hand: a BIA challenge coin is minted in high-relief 3D, sealed against wear, and delivered with a protective case that keeps collector condition an option, not an accident.

The tradition comes from the military: a coin carried, not worn, shown on challenge, kept for decades. Ours are made to survive exactly that life: the pocket, the bag, the coin check, the years. Made to be carried for decades, not displayed for weeks.

HAND-DRAWN CHALLENGE COINS

Every coin starts as a drawing by artists with real ties to the military community: the linework is drawn by hand, refined, and translated into a mint with high-relief detail you can read with a thumb in the dark.

Precision minting turns the drawing into a piece with expression and weight: a challenge coin that holds its own next to the unit coins it will share a pocket with.

COINS IN THE MILITARY: THE HISTORY OF A TRADITION

Challenge coins come from military tradition: a unit's mark of belonging, carried, not worn. The custom runs deep: coins presented for achievements, exchanged between comrades, and proven in a coin check every carrier knows the rules of.

Bundeswehr, police, fire service, and units worldwide keep the tradition alive, and collectors keep the history. BIA Coins take that tradition and mint the brotherhood's standard into it: each design a chapter, each coin a piece you can hand to the next man with a story attached.

INNER STRENGTH: A CHALLENGE COIN FOR YOUR MISSION

A coin in the pocket is a small weight with a long memory: your mission, your standard, the thing you said you'd finish. On the hard days, one glance is enough.

That's the point of carrying one: the reminder travels. Between meetings, before the last set, in the truck before a shift that will take everything: the coin doesn't say anything out loud, and it doesn't have to. You know what it stands for, because you chose it for exactly that reason.

CHALLENGE COINS FAQ

What goes into a Brothers in Arms coin: the most important questions about challenge coins, answered here. Anything else, just contact us.
What are Challenge Coins?
Challenge coins are minted pieces awarded within the Bundeswehr and other forces to mark affiliation, recognition, and special achievements. The tradition has spread to police, fire services, and units worldwide.
What material are the challenge coins from Brothers in Arms made of?
Solid metal, roughly 50 mm in diameter, with real weight in the hand. Built to be carried, not babied.
Can I buy challenge coins even if I have not served?
Brothers in Arms is anchored on a mindset, not a service record.

Discipline. Standards. The daily fight with your weaker self. That fight doesn't require a uniform, and it doesn't end when the uniform comes off.

A challenge coin marks a standard a man carries. The tradition began in the military. What it stands for never stayed there.

If you hold the line in your own life, you already know whether this is for you.

What is the best way to store my Challenge Coins?
The coins are robust enough for a pocket or bag. To keep one in collector condition, store it in the protective case included or display it in a coin holder.
Are there rules or customs around challenge coins?
Yes. The best known is the coin check: have your challenge coin on you at all times. If someone in your group calls a check, everyone shows their coin, and whoever can't, covers the round. Tradition is tradition.
Can you collect Brothers in Arms Coins?
Yes, many customers collect them. Each design is minted in high detail and marks its own story: pieces with real collector's value.
Do the coins support veterans?
Yes. Part of every coin order supports our veteran work, with a focus on mental health and PTSD support.

EVERY DESIGN HAS A DEEPER MEANING.
