Energy is everything.
There’s a reason why you can feel totally drained and low at your desk job, but then later that night, you’re full of energy, drinking beers with your boys and dancing until 4 AM, even though that should be way more physically exhausting. Right? But the difference is simple: it’s the energy that’s shifted.
The energy of you and the people around you. The way people’s vibes can either drain you or lift you up, and how, when the right people are around, suddenly you’re not even feeling tired anymore. Just think about how many times your best friend or gym buddy suddenly made your day, no matter how shitty it was before. Sure, they’re your best friend, but you could feel that different energy.

Same goes for a mission. You might be on the verge of sleep, physically drained, just seconds away from shutting down. But when the heat’s on, you’re instantly awake, fully in the moment, moving with your team like it’s what you were born to do. Same body, different energy. That’s the power of focus and tapping into a deeper energy source.
Be the cause and not the effect.
Here’s the important thing to remember: you can take control of your own energy. You don’t have to just react to it. You can be the source. You can choose to be the person who brings the energy into a room, who lights up a dead meeting, or turns a lifeless party into something worth being at. People will feel that. They’ll be drawn to you. Especially girls. They have a natural ability to pick up on emotions and energy.
We’re here for a short time, so why shouldn’t we be fucking enjoying every second of it? And being depressed and low-energy is for losers anyway.
