The Story

Lightning never announces itself.

Sun Tzu wrote: "Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt." Across the world, the men who fight that way have worn the bolt ever since. Speed decides more fights than strength. By the time you hear the thunder, it has already struck.

The can is aluminum. The knurled sides grip even with gloves on, and the angled edges slide in and out of a tight pocket. The lid hides a second compartment. Both compartments close on a rubber seal, so what you carry stays dry. The design is laser engraved into the black coating.

The box also holds a waterproof Bolt sticker, 6.5 cm high, small enough for an earbud case or the back of a phone.

How big is it?

7 cm across and 2.3 cm high. Slim enough for a tight pocket.

What is it made of?

Aluminum with a black coating; the design is laser engraved. The sides are knurled, so it opens with gloves on.

What is the second compartment for?

It sits in the lid and closes on its own rubber seal, so what is used never mixes with what is fresh.

Is it waterproof?

Both compartments close on a rubber seal. What is inside stays dry, and nothing spills in the bag.

What does shipping cost?

Free from 69 € in Germany, 89 € in the rest of Europe and 109 € worldwide. Below that, the cart shows the exact amount before you pay.

Where does my order ship from?

From our warehouse in Pfullendorf, Germany. Orders placed before noon on a business day leave the same day. For the United States, duties and import charges are included in the price.

Can I send it back?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery. The piece has to be unused and in the condition it arrived in. You start the return in your account.

Who pays for the return?

In Germany the return is free: you get a DHL label. From every other country you pay the return shipping. If we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we pay.

Is there a discount for soldiers, police and firefighters?

Yes. Anyone currently serving in the armed forces, police, customs, fire service or rescue services gets 10% on every order, volunteers included. Write to service@brothersinarms.shop from your official email address, or send a photo of your service ID with everything except your name, organization and expiry date covered. Tell us the email you shop with and we send you the code. We delete the photo once we have checked it.
